Prevention from Unwanted/Unplanned Pregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Infections and Blood Borne Infections. (STBBI’s)
We each have relationship with sexually transmitted infections and blood borne infections.
Perhaps you have been very motivated to take as much precautions as you can to prevent getting a bacterial STI like Chlamydia, Gonorrhea or Syphilis. Perhaps you are living with hepatitis B, herpes simplex virus (HSV), HIV or HPV? Have you been advised to be tested for STI’s after being notified that a previous sex partner was being treated for an STI? You may think about the people in your family tree who have lived with STBBI’s. Do you know your current relationship with STBBI’s?
There are many different relationships with unplanned/unwanted pregnancy.
Do you know your family history of unwanted/unplanned pregnancies? Do you know your own history of being part of an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy? What is your current contraception plan.

One way to re-visit your relationship with unplanned/unwanted pregnancy is to consider the that the most essential place for the responsibility—and burden—to prevent unwanted/unplanned pregnancies is on men who can control where their sperm is released, unlike people with ovaries having absolutely no control over their eggs.
