- Avoid labelling out of control sexual behaviours prematurely as an addiction problem
- Learn the science of sexual health and its impact on treatment of out of control sexual behaviors
- Develop appropriate language to have constructive sexual health conversations with clients
- Help clients overcome shame and manage their compulsive sexual behaviors
- Integrate the 6 principles of sexual health into your work with clients to guide them in consensual, honest, non-exploitive, and safe sexual behavior
- Feel good about offering clients hope that they can have pleasurable experiences in their control
